• 2015 Children’s Books Awards Announced!

  • Children’s Books are some of the most important outlets through which our kids learn. That’s why, the American Library Association has honored a number of this year’s most influential authors and illustrators with the 2015 Children’s Books Awards. Among the prestigious literary awards given at the midwinter meeting in Chicago, the 2015 John Newbery and Randolph Caldecott Medals are likely the most familiar to readers, awarded in the past to novels like The Giver by Lois Lowry and Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. Other awards presented at the ceremony included the Michael L. Prinz Award and the Coretta Scott King Book Awards for African American authors and illustrators.
